Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and management accounts.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial analysis and provide strong insights to the Management team, aiding in informed decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Manage and supervise the preparation of daily vouchers, supplementary sheets, reports and statements.
  • Consolidate data for preparation of periodic returns to regulatory body.
  • Manage filing of withholding tax statements ensuring compliance with Income Tax Law.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
  • Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
  • Supervise payroll related matters.
