Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and management accounts.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive financial analysis and provide strong insights to the Management team, aiding in informed decision-making and long-term planning.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage and supervise the preparation of daily vouchers, supplementary sheets, reports and statements.
- Consolidate data for preparation of periodic returns to regulatory body.
- Manage filing of withholding tax statements ensuring compliance with Income Tax Law.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Supervise payroll related matters.
